The Company:
Rex Features is Britain's leading independent photographic press agency and picture library, supplying a daily service of news, celebrity, features, and stock photos to media in the UK and worldwide. It is one of the primary sources of editorial photography, with contributors and sales agents throughout the world. The company was established over 50 years ago and is based in Clerkenwell, with a further office in Los Angeles.
We are looking for students who are currently studying for an NCTJ diploma, or have recently qualified, for a two week work experience placement on the features desk.
You will source and write stories for national and international publications; edit pictures (basic Photoshop experience is preferred but not essential); receive close supervision to improve your writing and learn how a picture press agency works over a two week placement.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, talented writer looking to gain experience in the industry.
