Just in time for his 60th birthday Sooty has received an extra special present. Entertainer Richard Cadell, who has worked with Sooty for a decade, and his brother have brought the rights for the mischievous bear and his friends Sweep and Soo in a reported £1 million deal. They now plan to revive the classic children's puppet for the next generation, with plans for a sitcom, a children's game show, an interactive show in front of a studio audience and a theatre tour.
