With over 300 shops, and running for a mile and a half from Marble Arch to Hyde Park, Oxford Street is Europe's busiest shopping street. It is home to a number of major department stores and numerous flagship stores, as well as hundreds of smaller shops. Without doubt it is the major shopping street in central London, though not the most expensive or fashionable. From the cavernous Selfridges to the famous Hamleys toy store there is something for everyone on Oxford Street.
