This hit 70s sitcom trod relatively new and daring ground in its depiction of a single man, Robin Tripp (Richard O'Sullivan), sharing a flat with two single girls, Chrissy (Paula Wilcox) and Jo (Sally Thomsett).

Running for six series between 1973 and 1976, the plot centred round Robin's unsuccessful flirting with his two female flatmates and the constant conflicts between them and their bumbling, accident-prone and gullible landlord, George (Brian Murphy).

It launched two spin-off series, 'Robin's Nest' and 'George and Mildred'.
