The series stars Adam Faith, Zoë Wanamaker and Jane Lapotaire as Frank Carver, Tessa Piggott and Diane Warburg respectively.

The storylines follow the trials and tribulations of Tessa who, following a messy divorce, finds herself a new job at charitable organisation with an old college chum Diane.

She also lands a new boyfriend in the form of Frank, a roguish entrepreneur who is learning how to live with his college-age daughter.
