Running for six series from 1971 to 1976, this family-centric sitcom starred the great Sid James as Sid Abbott, husband to Jean and father to teenage children Mike and Sally.

Mike is an art graduate, more concerned with protests than finding a job, while Sally is a trendy schoolgirl.

Sid and Jean are therefore constantly trying, and failing, to understand the permissive and liberal ways of this younger generation.
