Love them or loathe them bendy buses are now a fixture of the capital. However, one man who seems to fall into the loathe them category is London Mayor Boris Johnson. He has promised to rid the streets of London of the controversial buses within 12 years. Instead, they will be replaced with the very buses that they chased off the road in the first place - a new generation of open-platform Routemasters.
