Want a coffee? Then jump up and down!

A new coffee machine is being developed that makes you complete energetic interactive games before pouring you a cup.

BeMoved from Douwe Egberts is claimed to be "the world's first coffee machine that can be operated by movement alone".

Users will be able to drag-and-drop ingredients into a virtual cup, 'discover' their coffee in a 'living' tree, or have the machine recognise them and automatically make a drink to their taste.

Wii-generation users will also have the option to earn their beverage by taking part in a "shoot-em-up-game" where they earn coffee by jumping.

The widescreen viewing interface will also act as a portal to check the latest share prices, weather forecasts, real-time traffic jams and the most recent news.

Douwe Egberts say BeMoved is based on the idea that modern consumers would like to be able to interact with products on a more personal level and enjoy more varied experiences with coffee.

Currently the Dutch company have no plans to bring the BeMoved concept to market, but they say aspects of its design and users' experiences will be considered when developing new machines.
