THE F1 LIMO

This would make any stag or hen do goes with a whiz - a Formula One limousine.

The amazing seven-seater car goes from 0-60mph in five seconds and can reach a top speed of 140mph.

Canadian Michael Pettipas spent two years building the vehicle, which is actually legal to drive on normal roads.

And the 45-year-old has been testing on salt flats in the hope of beating the current street legal record of 253mph held by the Bugatti Veyron.

Michael says he was influenced by Pink Panther's pink stretch car and Grand Prix hero Jackie Stewart, but decided to attempt to try something original.

"To be what I thought would be the greatest limousine builder in the world I had to stretch something that had never been stretched before," he says. "And the only thing that had not been stretched was something that had never been allowed on the road: a Grand Prix limo."

Michael's company GP Limos now hires the car out for track days from $200 and he hopes to have one of the vehicles in the UK soon.
