Now there can be a smoke without fire - thanks to the launch of a new electronic cigarette.
Smokers will no longer be forced out into the cold for a nicotine hit thanks to the Gamucci Electronic Cigarette, a completely non-flammable product that uses sophisticated micro-electronic technology to provide users with a realistic smoking experience - without the tobacco and tar found in real cigarettes.
The rechargeable device consists of a disposable nicotine cartridge, a vapourisation chamber and a lithium battery. When the user inhales, the nicotine liquid is vapourised and the 'smoker' gets the nicotine fix they crave, all without having to inhale any cancer causing agents.
London-based Gamucci claim their cigarette "looks like, feels like and tastes like a real cigarette and delivers all the pleasures of smoking, without the negative side effects of smoking tobacco."
What's more, you'll still be in favour with your non-smoking buddies as the only emission from the fake fags is condensation that evaporates into the air within seconds.
There is also a realistic red glow at the tip of the cigarette that lights up when you use it, just like a real cigarette.
Each cartridge for the £49.95 device is equivalent to 20 traditional cigarettes - or 300 puffs - and refills can be bought online for £6.95 each.
The company claim that as the Gamucci does not burn anything or contain tobacco, it is not restricted to the smoking laws in the UK and many parts of Europe, and is legal to use in enclosed public places "such as Restaurants, Bars, Casinos, Night Clubs and Bingo Halls".
Mo Zar, Head of Client Relations for Gamucci Ltd comments, "The response and uptake has been phenomenal. The smoking ban has widely effected the hospitality sector and now there is a new hope for establishments and smokers who are simply amazed by the device. We are already implementing a nationwide roll out of supplying Gamucci Electronic Cigarettes to a number of leading Casino and Restaurant groups."
