Say goodbye to boring old white golf carts - the new status symbol on the fairway is the highly-modified luxury golf buggy.
Designed to look like prestige road cars, the range of carts from US-company Berlinecart come equipped with an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, iPod adaptor, upholstered seats, drink holders, chrome tilt steering wheel column, and 15" custom wheel rims.
Oh, and there's also a place to put your clubs.
The range includes a mini version of a Cadillac Escalade and a distinctive red buggy called The Smoothster, designed by famed automotive designer Boyd Coddington.
You also have the chance to customise the whole cart online by choosing from a range of optional extras, such as a premium sound system ($750), hard top ($1,200) or fog lights ($100).
Once you have chosen the colour scheme and kitted your ride out to your requirements you can then see what it will look like before you buy.
But looking good on your favourite course doesn't come cheap. The Escalade ESV (6 Passenger) starts from $16,995, while the Smoothster is yours for an above par $15,995.
